Red Rock Hut is situated on the west coast of King Island; although remote it is only a short flight from Melbourne or mainland Tasmania.

The main township of Currie is a 20-25 minute drive south. Red Rock Hut is conveniently located between two world class golf courses: Cape Wickham and Ocean Dunes, and surfing hot spots.
